Job summary

Cedarstone is seeking a full-time Nonprofit Accountant to join our Financial Operations team. This hands-on role focuses on GL maintenance, monthly closings, AP/AR reconciliations, and delivering timely financial packages and board reports for a portfolio of nonprofit clients.

You will support annual audits and Form 990 filings, assist with client onboarding, and provide clear financial guidance to nonprofit leadership. Sage Intacct experience is a big plus.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge is required for accurate nonprofit financial reporting.
• Strong spreadsheet skills for complex analyses and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail in all financial activities.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with nonprofit leaders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and perform monthly/quarterly/annual closings.
• Execute AP/AR reconciliations and prepare financial packages.
• Provide board-level reporting and timely financial statements.
• Support annual external audits and Form 990 filings.
• Assist with client onboarding and deliver actionable financial guidance to leadership.
