Cedarstone is seeking a full-time Nonprofit Accountant to join our Financial Operations team. You will be a day-to-day trusted accountant for nonprofit clients, managing ledgers, closings, reconciliations, and reporting.

You will support audits and Form 990 filings and offer actionable financial guidance. Ideal candidates have strong GAAP knowledge, advanced spreadsheet skills, and a knack for building relationships with nonprofit leaders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP is required.
• Strong spreadsheet skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with nonprofit leaders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and perform monthly/quarterly/annual closings.
• Execute AP/AR reconciliations and prepare financial packages.
• Produce board-level reporting and support annual audits and Form 990.
• Assist with client onboarding and provide financial guidance.
