Job summary

Dane Street is seeking a No Surprises Act Arbitrator on a 1099 contract basis. You will review disputes in a paper-based process, determine eligibility and neutrality, and provide concise written decisions under NSA rules. Experience with medical arbitration and AAA training is valued.

This remote role supports national coverage, requires specialized knowledge of NSA procedures, and emphasizes timely, accurate reporting and billing through Dane Street’s portal. Prior IDR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of healthcare payment determinations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of industry practices and NSA requirements.
• Ability to write concise, well-reasoned decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review dispute materials and related data.
• Provide written decision rationale based on arbitration processes.
• Apply laws, procedures, and industry knowledge to settle disputes.
• Obtain Dane Street training for the program and complete process review.
• Submit reporting on Dane Street’s portal and billing for completed reviews.
• Turn around all reviews in 5 days or less.
