Job summary

Dane Street, LLC seeks a No Surprises Act Arbitrator for a 1099 contract that pays per case. This role involves independent, paper-based dispute resolution between providers, facilities, air ambulance services, and insurers under NSA rules.

Successful candidates will possess knowledge of healthcare payment determinations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to write concise decisions quickly. Prior NSA or IDR experience is preferred; AAA training or healthcare/insurance review

Qualifications

• Education: Law, business degree or extensive medical review experience.
• Solid knowledge of No Surprises Act procedures, policies, and law. NSA reviews for existing Independent Dispute Resolution Entity preferred.
• Demonstrate a neutral disposition and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Review materials related to the dispute and any potential data.
• Provide a written decision based on baseball arbitration processes.
• Apply laws, procedures, and industry knowledge to settle disputes.
• Obtain Dane Street training for the program and complete process review.
• Submit reporting on Dane Street’s portal and submit billing on completed review.
• Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
