Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join the Psychiatric Emergency Response (PERS) team that assesses patients in the ED with behavioral/mental health concerns and provides treatment recommendations, working overnight hours. This is a full-time, fully remote position.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field and Virginia LPC or LCSW licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or related field required.
• Virginia LPC or LCSW licensure required.
• At least 1 year of outpatient or inpatient experience preferred.
• Crisis experience preferred.
• Excellent clinical skills, documentation, and communication.

Responsabilités

• Assesses social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial needs of each patient.
• Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team, and community agencies to plan care.
• Evaluates effectiveness of plans and initiates changes as needed.
