The role collaborates with operations, science and engineering teams, with flexibility for remote or hybrid work and quarterly travel to Colorado if remote. Ideal candidates have degrees in biology or CS, strong Python, and experience with data analysis, visualization, and version control.
Qualifications
- BA/BS or MS in Biology, Computer Science or related field.
- Strong programming ability in Python.
- Knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub).
- Experience with data analysis and visualization.
- Excellent oral and written communication for scientific and general audiences.
- Bonus: experience with NGS data processing, cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure) and scientific computing (HPC).
Responsibilities
- Process NGS data using existing workflows.
- Collaborate with molecular biologists providing analytical support.
- Triage failure modes in NGS processing and contribute to codebases.
- Assist in validation and verification studies of liquid biopsy products.
