Job summary

Palvision seeks an experienced IT Systems Engineer to provide 24x7 production cloud and on-premise support from a remote setup in the United States.

You will manage cloud architecture, network services, VPNs, Linux administration and security compliance, plus incident response and root cause analysis.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on IT support, strong English, and the ability to document clearly and work with international teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical support for on-premise networks, servers and cloud computing.
• Experience in scalable Cloud Architecture management and Cloud Networking.
• Experience in Site-to-Site VPN and Linux system administration.
• Experience in network administration including L2/L3 switch mgmt and firewall config.
• Experience with mDNS for BYOD content streaming.
• Experience with captive portal solutions such as Mikrotik, PacketFence, OpenNAC.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration and provide support for 24x7 production Cloud environments.
• Provide incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Implement SOPs relating to preventative maintenance and disaster recovery.
• Implement best practices in terms of Cybersecurity, PCI DSS and Data Privacy compliance assessments.
• Undertake Internal and External Penetration testing using tools and resources.
• Perform on-premise networking tasks.
• Provide clear, precise and complete documentation that are kept up-to-date.
