Job summary

Garud Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Network Engineer with NOC/SOC skills to support a federal PMO responsible for planning, acquiring, deploying, operating, and sustaining border-security technology.

The role is remote within the United States with up to 40% travel. Candidates should have senior-level network experience, DHS/DoD lifecycle familiarity, and ability to coordinate risk, security findings, and engineering plans across multiple directorates.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree, or 5+ years with MS, or 13+ years in lieu of degree.
• Familiar with DHS or DoD Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF).
• Familiar with DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) framework.
• Experience in requirements analysis.
• Experience in developing engineering plans, trade studies, CONOPS documents, and decision papers.
• Knowledge of a broad spectrum of technical fields and engineering disciplines.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Individuals with good technology, network and security understanding and soft skills to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide full lifecycle systems engineering support for large programs.
• Develop engineering plans, trade studies, CONOPS, and decision papers.
• Lead or support RFP packages including SOO, PWS, CDRLs, DIDs, ICDs, CONOPS, FRDs.
• Evaluate contractor submittals including proposals, white papers, and demos.
• Support planning, execution, data collection, evaluation of system tests and demonstrations.
• Conduct technology market research and prepare white papers and decision papers.
• Coordinate and track project activities and provide status reports to the customer.
