Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Juniper platforms including Mist, wireless, routing, switching, and SD-WAN.
• Extensive Palo Alto firewall experience with policy design and threat prevention in large enterprises.
• Expertise in Juniper switching/routing for core and distribution layers with high availability.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise network architectures integrating Palo Alto and Juniper for secure connectivity in hybrid environments.
• Develop scalable security designs applying Palo Alto policies and segmentation strategies.
• Create design docs for wired and wireless infrastructures on Juniper hardware and Mist platforms.
• Optimize routing and switching configurations across Juniper devices for high performance and minimal downtime.
• Configure wireless solutions using Juniper Mist to deliver stable user experiences across locations.
• Review firewall rules, security policies, and access controls across Palo Alto and Juniper environments to reduce risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into network and security designs.
• Mentor operational teams on firewall design, routing, and wireless optimization.
• Implement monitoring and observability across Palo Alto and Juniper infrastructures to detect issues early.
• Evaluate emerging Palo Alto/Juniper technologies to enhance automation and resilience.
• Align designs with compliance and data protection requirements.
• Coordinate change planning and cutover activities in a hybrid work model with minimal disruption.
• Provide technical guidance to peers and junior architects.
