Job summary

Cologix is seeking a NetSuite Developer to join our internal systems software engineering team. You will develop, enhance, and support NetSuite customizations and integrations for essential corporate systems, translating business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong SuiteScript 2.x skills, experience with RESTlets, and a solid practice in agile and collaborative development. Join us to work on high-impact optimizations and platform improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on NetSuite development.
• Strong JavaScript development skills and experience with design, debugging, testing and release workflows.
• Hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.1/2.x; familiarity with legacy SuiteScript 1.0 is a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite script types: User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, RESTlet, Suitelet, Workflow.
• Experience building REST-based integrations and NetSuite REST web services/RESTlets.
• Knowledge of NetSuite records, saved searches/SuiteQL, roles, governance and performance best practices.
• Experience with SDF, SuiteCloud CLI or deployment tooling, and Git-based source control.
• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certification or other NetSuite certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a 100% remote North American team.
• Develop and maintain NetSuite customizations, integrations, and automation for internal corporate systems.
• Design and build enhancements that ensure security, scalability, and performance.
• Clarify requirements with stakeholders and engineers to deliver practical solutions.
• Apply Agile practices to plan, estimate, and deliver.
• Participate in peer code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
• Help improve development processes, tooling, release practices and support procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and implement durable fixes.
• Consider full software lifecycle from planning to maintenance.
• Maintain current documentation for code, customizations, integrations, and processes.
• Focus on development with some production support and break/fix work.
