Job summary

Cologix in Denver, CO is seeking a NetSuite Developer to craft and support NetSuite customizations and integrations for core corporate systems. You will join a 100% remote North American team of developers delivering reliable, scalable solutions that underlie business operations.

The role requires strong SuiteScript and JavaScript skills, practical software engineering experience, and the ability to translate business needs into NetSuite designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience with NetSuite development.
• Strong JavaScript development skills and experience with software design, debugging, testing, version control, and release workflows.
• Experience with SuiteScript 2.1/2.x; familiarity with SuiteScript 1.0 is a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite script types (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, RESTlet, Suitelet, Workflow).
• Experience building REST-based integrations, including NetSuite REST web services and RESTlets.
• Knowledge of NetSuite records, saved searches, SuiteQL, roles/permissions, governance, performance best practices.
• Experience using SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) or SuiteCloud CLI and Git-based source control.
• agile/Scrum environment experience.
• NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certification or other NetSuite certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support NetSuite customizations and integrations for internal systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers to clarify requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Design and build enhancements that meet business needs while ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
• Participate in peer code reviews and maintain engineering standards.
• Contribute to project meetings, raise risks, and suggest improvement opportunities.
• Improve development processes, tooling, release practices, and support procedures.
• Troubleshoot application behavior, integration issues, and performance problems; implement durable fixes.
• Maintain documentation for code, customizations, integrations, and processes.
