Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Software Engineer to participate in all phases of the software life cycle, from design to deployment, focusing on .NET platforms. You will collaborate with architects to define a strategy and ensure user requirements are translated into robust applications.

Ideal candidates have strong expertise in IIS, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, WF, WCF, WPF, XML, JQuery, SQL Server, and Agile/Scrum practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with 2 years of software development experience or Bachelor’s with 5 years progressive experience.
• Proficiency in IIS, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, WF, WCF, WPF, XML, JQuery, Microsoft Enterprise Libraries, OO programming, design patterns, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the full software applications life cycle from design to implementation.
• Perform architectural reviews and work with software architects to define architecture strategy for .NET platforms.
• Understand user requirements and ensure those requirements are achieved through applications.
• Telecommuting is permitted.
