Job summary

Orion Innovation is seeking a remote .NET Developer to build scalable, cloud-native microservices for large-scale workloads on AWS. You will design, implement, and optimize distributed systems with a focus on performance, security, and clean architecture.

You will work with Docker and Kubernetes, PostgreSQL via Entity Framework, and collaborate with global stakeholders in an Agile setting. Candidates must have 7–10 years of experience and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with .NET Framework, C#, and Entity Framework.
• Experience designing and running microservices in production.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for deployment.
• Familiarity with AWS services (SQS, Lambdas, ECS/EKS, RDS).
• Strong understanding of design patterns and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade .NET and C# applications.
• Architect microservices with inter-service communication via queues and APIs.
• Deploy and orchestrate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes across cloud environments.
• Model and tune PostgreSQL data layers using Entity Framework and SQL techniques.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and present architectural designs.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies with QA, DevOps, product owners, and architects.
