Job summary

Rangam Consultants seeks a .NET Developer III for a remote, six‑month assignment. You will develop and support internal applications using C#, Angular, and .NET on Visual Studio/VS Code, migrate to Azure PaaS or on‑prem/private cloud, and ensure a consistent mobile‑friendly UX across devices.

Required are 4+ years in .NET development, 2+ years in Angular 8+, and proficiency with Azure DevOps, SQL Server/Azure SQL DB, and OData/Web services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, related field, or commensurate experience.
• Proficient in C#, CSS, HTML, OData, REST, JSON, Angular, JavaScript and/or jQuery, PowerShell.
• Minimum 2 years strong working experience in Angular 8+.
• Minimum 2 years experience using Azure DevOps to manage source code, tasks and bugs, and perform builds/deploys.
• Experience with SQL Server 2016+ or Azure SQL DB, and Oracle.
• Solid knowledge of MVC 5.0+ and Entity Framework 6+ including Code-First Migrations.
• Minimum 2 years experience utilizing OData web services across .NET apps.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills; able to document requirements and procedures.
• Willingness to learn new subjects and collaborate with teams; 4+ years .NET development experience.

Responsibilities

• Development and support of internal apps using Visual Studio/VS Code, .NET Framework, Angular & C#.
• Migrate or develop apps to Azure as PaaS, or on‑premise private cloud or mobile devices.
• Build and deploy mobile-optimized web apps with a consistent UX across devices.
• Manage source code repos, builds, and deploys using Azure DevOps.
• Develop and drive adoption of standards and governance for stability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with your team and other enterprise teams.
• Be available to work flexible hours to support our Microsoft application portfolio.
• Frequent interaction with business owners/stakeholders.
