Job summary

Gainwell Technologies in West Sacramento, CA is seeking a Medical Transportation Supervisor to manage NMT/NEMT services for Medi-Cal. You will lead a team coordinating transportation for beneficiaries to approved medical services, ensuring timely processing and DHCS-compliant service delivery.

This hybrid role combines remote work with occasional in-office days. A Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in healthcare operations (including 2+ years in leadership) are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 6+ years in healthcare ops or related fields.
• Two+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong business, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medi-Cal, MMIS, or healthcare transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily NMT/NEMT operations and team performance.
• Ensure compliance with DHCS requirements and service levels.
• Resolve beneficiary/provider inquiries and escalations.
• Develop staff through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Foster relationships with beneficiaries, providers, clients, and internal teams.
