Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Training Specialist/Instructional Developer to support analysis, design, and development of Navy training products. The role, located remotely with a Pensacola anchor, involves front-end instructional design, SME collaboration, and ensuring NAVEDTRA compliance.

You will write scripts, develop storyboards, map objectives, and coordinate with multimedia teams to deliver effective, learner-centered content on schedule. A Secret clearance is reflected in the requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 2-5 years experience in instructional design or training development.
• Ability to translate technical information into instructional content.
• Strong scriptwriting and storyboard development skills.
• Experience collaborating with government SMEs and NAVEDTRA standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end instructional design activities with Government SMEs.
• Develop, map learning objectives, and write instructional scripts.
• Create detailed storyboards with interactions, graphics, and assessments.
• Ensure products conform to NAVEDTRA standards and government requirements.
• Coordinate with multimedia developers and participate in reviews and validations.
• Maintain traceability from requirements to assessments and production milestones.
