Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Navigation & PNT Expert to lead design, development, integration, and validation of advanced navigation systems.

You will drive strategy and execution across defense, commercial, and space applications, leveraging GNSS, inertial sensors, AI, and software-defined radio technologies. The role requires deep expertise in GNSS, inertial sensors, sensor fusion, timing systems, and navigation algorithm development, with a proven ability to translate

Qualifications

  • Requires 10+ years of experience in PNT, navigation systems, or related domains.
  • Deep knowledge of GNSS (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou) and augmentation systems.
  • Experience with inertial sensors, magnetometers, barometers, wheel odometry, etc.
  • Expertise in navigation and sensor-fusion algorithms (EKF/UKF, error-state filtering, SLAM).
  • Familiarity with timing systems and clock modeling.
  • Proficient with simulation and analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, C/C++, ROS).
  • Experience with real-world data collection, calibration, and system testing.
  • US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PNT solutions including GNSS, inertial navigation, vision-based navigation, and multi-sensor fusion.
  • Analyze PNT performance across diverse environments (GNSS-denied, urban canyon, RF-challenged).
  • Develop, tune, and validate navigation algorithms (Kalman filters, tightly/loosely coupled fusion).
  • Model and simulate PNT systems to predict performance and support design decisions.
  • Conduct GNSS signal analysis including interference and spoofing detection.
  • Lead integration and testing in lab and field environments with representative sensors.
  • Support system architecture development and define PNT interfaces and budgets.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, autonomy, guidance & control, and systems engineering teams.
  • Document findings and present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
