Terrestris is seeking an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for NAV 102: Modern Naval History to deliver fully online asynchronous instruction to enlisted Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen through the US Naval Community College (USNCC). The role supports the Navy’s mission by developing critical thinking, leadership, and readiness in students, using Blackboard LMS.
The instructor will participate in onboarding, prepare supplemental materials, teach up to two courses per term, and provide timely
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in U.S. History, military history, government, strategic studies, and public policy.
- Demonstrated teaching experience in online modality for working adults; online Higher Education environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, fully online asynchronous instruction to enlisted Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
- Grade assignments, examinations, and projects using rubrics and maintain documentation.
