Job summary

Brewer Morris is seeking a National Tax Senior Manager – Quality Assurance & Risk Management to join its National Tax Team. Qualifications

• 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting, corporate tax, or equivalent professional environment.
• CPA, EA, JD, or LL.M. preferred.
• Experience at Manager, Senior Manager, or Director level.
• Broad tax background with no specific industry or return specialization required.
• Heavily compliance-focused background may be well-suited for this role due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical tax resource for partners, directors, managers, and staff across the firm.
• Review complex tax matters and provide guidance on technical tax issues, regulations, and firm policies.
• Support the firm's tax quality control and risk management initiatives.
• Help identify, evaluate, and mitigate tax-related risks across engagement teams.
• Assist with developing and maintaining tax policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in internal consultations on complex tax positions and compliance matters.
• Support training, education, and professional development initiatives for tax professionals.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance.
