Brewer Morris is seeking an Assurance Manager or Senior Manager to lead engagements, ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, and guide client teams through complex audits in a fully remote role for candidates based in PST or MST.

The role emphasizes leadership, client service, and development of staff, with opportunities to collaborate across tax, advisory, and consulting to deliver integrated solutions and grow within public accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of recent public accounting experience in assurance, audit, or attest services for Manager level; 7+ years for Senior Manager level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assurance engagements through full lifecycle with GAAP/GAAS compliance.
• Evaluate complex accounting and reporting matters, guiding clients and teams.
• Manage engagement economics: pricing, budgeting, and staffing for profitability.
• Serve as trusted advisor to client executives and stakeholders with proactive communication.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, internal controls, and operations.
• Collaborate with tax, advisory, and outsourced accounting to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support business development by strengthening client relationships and cross-selling.
• Mentor and develop staff and senior associates through supervision and coaching.
• Promote collaboration, innovation, and a firm-first mindset.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and high-quality client service.
