The position focuses on research and analysis of federal income tax issues, M&A structuring, and drafting client communications, with exposure to a diverse client base and cross-border considerations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive federal income tax consulting experience at a large firm, law firm, or IRS preferred.
• J.D. degree required.
• Experience with partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze federal income tax issues, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, timing issues and accounting methods, digital assets, and other matters.
• Assist with M&A tax structuring and internal restructuring.
• Draft emails and memos.
• Draft firm-wide alerts on current developments in federal income tax.
• Assist with firm-wide trainings in federal income tax.
• Assist with Federal domestic tax due diligence in connection with M&A transactions.
