Job summary

Abbott Electrophysiology is seeking a National Advanced Clinical Education Specialist (N-ACES) for Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) to lead national clinical education strategy and field development. The role collaborates with Commercial Leadership, Marketing, Clinical Research, and Sales Training to ensure procedural excellence and rapid adoption of Amulet LAA therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience within cardiovascular medical devices, structural heart, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, or related healthcare industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in LAAO therapies, structural heart procedures, or catheter-based cardiovascular interventions.
• Extensive experience training physicians, allied health professionals, and field-based clinical personnel.
• Proven experience developing and implementing educational programs at a regional or national level.
• Strong understanding of procedural workflows, imaging modalities, and cardiovascular anatomy relevant to LAA closure procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of national clinical education strategies for Abbott’s LAA franchise.
• Design, implement, and continuously enhance educational pathways supporting Amulet procedural success.
• Establish and maintain competency frameworks for Clinical Specialists and Territory Managers supporting LAA accounts.
• Develop standardized training materials, procedural guides, best practices, and advanced educational content.
• Partner with Professional Education and Commercial Development teams to align field education with strategic business objectives.
