Job summary

Abbott Electrophysiology is seeking a National Advanced Clinical Education Specialist (N-ACES) for Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO). You will lead national clinical education programs, develop competency frameworks, and partner with Commercial, Marketing, and Clinical teams to ensure procedural excellence across Abbott's LAA portfolio.

The role requires 8+ years in cardiovascular devices, strong teaching skills, and the ability to travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
8+ years in cardiovascular medical devices or related healthcare industries.
Expertise in LAAO therapies, structural heart procedures, or catheter-based interventions.
Experience training physicians and field personnel.
Willingness to travel up to 60%.
Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
MBA or advanced healthcare degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute national clinical education strategies for Abbott's LAA franchise.
Lead onboarding and development programs for clinical specialists and Territory Managers.
Promote best practices in patient selection, imaging, and procedural workflows.
Support strategic account initiatives with clinical education and development activities.
Collaborate across Marketing, Clinical Research, Medical Affairs, and Training teams.
Analyze performance metrics and derive insights to drive improvements.
