Job summary

Abbott is seeking a National Advanced Clinical Education Specialist (N-ACES) for Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion to lead national clinical education strategy and field development. You will collaborate across Commercial Leadership, Professional Education, Marketing, Clinical Research, and Sales Training to ensure procedural excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of cardiovascular medical devices/related healthcare experience.
• Expertise in LAAO therapies or structural heart procedures.
• Extensive experience training physicians and field personnel.
• Proven track record developing national educational programs.
• Strong knowledge of procedural workflows and imaging modalities.
• Able to influence across a matrixed organization.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Lead national clinical education strategies for Abbott's LAA franchise.
• Design and continuously improve educational pathways for Amulet procedures.
• Develop competency frameworks for Clinical Specialists and Territory Managers.
• Create standardized training materials, guides, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Education, Marketing, and Commercial teams to align field education with business goals.
• Serve as the clinical development leader for the LAA field organization.
• Coach onboarding and advanced development for clinical staff and regional trainers.
• Assess field proficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote best practices in patient selection, workflow, imaging, and post-care.
• Support strategic accounts with clinical differentiation and growth.
