Job summary

Meet Minneapolis is seeking a National Account Executive to promote the City of Minneapolis as a premier destination for conventions and meetings. You will work with national association and corporate accounts from the Northeast region, aiming to achieve room-night goals and drive occupancy for hotels and the Minneapolis Convention Center.

This exempt, full-time role can be remote in Philadelphia/DC or based at the Minneapolis headquarters.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree from an academic institution
• Five years minimum hospitality sales experience
• Experience selling to Northeast markets a plus

Responsibilities

• Promote Minneapolis as a premier destination for conventions and meetings.
• Achieve annual room night goals and related targets.
• Prospect to develop business and generate new leads.
• Coordinate bid proposals and site inspections with clients.
• Travel to trade shows and client visits as required.
• Maintain communication on account activity and updates in CRM systems.
