Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team supporting capital investments across North America, focusing on MHE strategy, facility upkeep, and asset-tracking modernization. You will manage budgets, develop business cases, and present funding requests to executives for approval.

The role requires 8+ years of capital-project experience, SAP/Excel proficiency, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in capital projects and budgeting.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams across North America.
• Proficient in SAP and Excel with strong data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of asset-tracking modernization and CMMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of project managers supporting North American operations, overseeing $50M–$70M in annual capital spend across MHE and facility projects.
• Develops and drives capital strategy for MHE and facilities, including lifecycle planning and repair-versus-replace decisions.
• Partners with site leaders to assess facility conditions and prioritize upkeep, repairs, and capital improvements.
• Leads modernization of asset tracking across North America and improves data visibility.
• Oversees project scope, planning, resources, and schedules within budgets with minimal disruption.
• Maintains a 3- to 5-year capital plan, budgeting, forecasts, and variance explanations.
