Job summary
The Hometown Pharmacy is seeking a Remote Managing Pharmacist to provide leadership, regulatory oversight, and operational support to multiple Wisconsin locations. This primarily remote role includes scheduled on-site visits to ensure patient safety and adherence to regulations.
You will lead pharmacy teams, coach staff, and drive process improvements across locations while maintaining compliance with Wisconsin and federal pharmacy laws.
Qualifications
- PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy and active Wisconsin license.
- Ability to travel to Wisconsin locations for on-site visits.
- Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and applicable regulations.
- Ability to lead multiple locations remotely with accountability.
Responsibilities
- Provide centralized pharmacist leadership and oversight for assigned Wisconsin pharmacies.
- Coach and educate pharmacy staff while promoting compliance and continuous improvement.
- Conduct monthly on-site inspections and ensure security, storage, and documentation meet standards.
- Oversee regulatory compliance, inspections, audits, and corrective actions across locations.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement standardized procedures and best practices.
