Job summary

Cayuse Language Connect, LLC is seeking translators to work remotely, translating across education, legal, medical, environmental, and social services. The role is a 1099 Independent Contractor position with on-call duties and potential travel, reporting to the Deputy Program Manager.

Qualifications

• High School/BA Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately translate spoken work situations like lectures, conversations, and meetings.
• Utilize technology to transcribe spoken English in some settings.
• Read original documents and translate accordingly.
• Edit translated versions.
• Maintain cultural sensitivity in translation with impartiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
