Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. MuleSoft Platform Developer to own and advance our MuleSoft portfolio in a remote setting. This hands-on role requires expert integration skills and the ability to drive technical delivery and modernization initiatives.

You will design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integrations and APIs, manage Apigee, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Remote opportunity with competitive pay and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development and integration experience.
• 5+ years hands-on MuleSoft experience across ESB, API management, or integration platforms.
• Experience with Google Apigee API management.
• Proficiency in Java and RESTful API design.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
• Proven ownership of complex technical projects from conception to delivery.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
• Preferred: AI-powered development tools and certifications.
• Preferred: MuleSoft or integration technology certifications.
• Preferred: Modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferred: Background in microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions and APIs.
• Act as platform owner, ensuring performance, scalability, and governance of the MuleSoft portfolio.
• Lead technical discussions and mentor team members on best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
• Implement and manage Apigee API management solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies, including AI-powered development tools.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to security standards.
• Participate in on-call support and incident response as needed.
