University of the Pacific seeks a Field Coordinator and Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor (Remote) to oversee field education for the MSW program, focusing on Southern California partnerships and Los Angeles region activities. The incumbent will coordinate field seminars, advise students, collaborate with agencies, and contribute to accreditation processes while supporting hybrid/online

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Minimum two years post-graduate employment experience.
• One year of employment in a direct practice social work setting.
• Must reside in the Southern California/Los Angeles region or be able to regularly travel to support field education partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage all assigned aspects of field education programming for the MSW program.
• Participate in the CSWE accreditation process in conjunction with leadership for field education components.
• Lead curriculum development within field education and ensure linkage to the didactic curriculum.
• Attend department, college, and university committees and meetings.
• Provide academic advising and career mentoring; teach in a team-teaching environment; assist in course assignments.
• Recruit, develop, and approve internship sites locally and in California for hybrid/online tracks.
• Collaborate with agencies to build partnerships and respond to changing needs under leadership of the Field Director.
