Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for NMOSD & gMG-Rare Disease to cover South Florida and Puerto Rico. You will support the MSL TA head, develop local territory tactics, and communicate high-value scientific data to healthcare professionals.

Educate providers and payers on clinical outcomes and economic data, respond to inquiries, and implement local engagement plans aligned with annual goals and metrics.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required.
• Masters degree with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience or
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with healthcare partners to educate and communicate clinical and scientific data to advance Amgen's scientific platform.
• Educate payers, providers, advocacy groups, and access enablers on clinical outcomes and economic data.
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries consistent with MSL compliance standards.
• Provide and/or present field observations and insights to internal collaborators.
• Implement a scientific engagement plan according to annual MSL goals and metrics.
• Develop and implement local engagement plans aligned with the scientific plan.

Education

Doctorate degree

Masters degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience

PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO (Other Doctoral degrees considered)
