Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison for NMOSD & gMG-Rare Disease, covering South Florida and Puerto Rico. You will communicate scientific data to clinicians and payers, support local R&D tactics, and help shape the region's scientific narrative.

You’ll educate partners, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliant, ethical scientific exchange. This role combines strategic engagement with hands-on medical affairs activities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent relevant experience.
• Master’s degree plus 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Support MSL TA head and local TA lead in developing territory R&D tactics.
• Educate and communicate clinical data to payers, providers, and researchers.
• Engage with healthcare partners to advance Amgen's scientific platform.
• Lead field observations and present insights to internal teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain MSL compliance standards.
• Develop and implement local engagement plans and speaker training.
