Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for NMOSD & gMG-Rare Disease covering South Florida and Puerto Rico. The role supports local R&D tactics, educates healthcare partners on clinical and economic data, and shares field insights to influence internal strategies.

The position emphasizes scientific engagement planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and speaker training to ensure data accuracy and compliance across the territory.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree is required as Basic Qualifications.
• Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience is an alternative.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience is another path.

Responsibilities

• Support the MSL TA head and local TA lead in developing local territory R&D tactics.
• Engage with healthcare partners to educate and communicate clinical and scientific data to advance Amgen’s platform.
• Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers, providers, and advocacy groups.
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries in line with MSL compliance standards.
• Provide field observations and insights to internal collaborators to inform strategy.
• Lead and implement scientific engagement plans and local operating plans aligned with annual goals.
• Support speaker training and ensure data updates for Amgen-sponsored research.

Education

Doctorate degree

Master’s degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
