Bayview Asset Management is seeking an experienced underwriting professional for a full-time role based in Denver, CO with the ability to work fully remote. You will review DSCR, jumbo, and bank statement loans, manage a pipeline, and coordinate with sellers, capital markets, and policy teams to ensure loans meet Bayview's origination and purchase standards.

Responsibilities include liaising with underwriting peers, clearing conditions, and ensuring accuracy of loan documentation.

Formación

• Extensive knowledge of Mortgage Banking practices, procedures, and laws.
• Strong understanding of operational responsibilities in purchase/sale of whole loan assets.
• Comfortable negotiating complex issues and problem solving.
• Effective verbal and written communications, including active listening and presenting findings and recommendations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, support research and analysis, and enhance quality and accuracy of work.

Responsabilidades

• Provide eligibility support to a network of correspondent sellers
• Approve exceptions as authorized
• Foster strong relationships with sellers' underwriting and post-closing teams
• Work with sellers to clear due diligence conditions
• Ensure loan documents are accurate, complete, and sufficient to clear all conditions for final loan approval
• Review and evaluate loan files for risk issues and potential fraud/misrepresentation
• Analyze appraisals for valuation accuracy
• Any other assigned duties from management as necessary
