Job summary

Burke & Herbert Bank & Trust is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to handle secondary market and in-house portfolio loans, ensuring complete and accurate applications, and ordering necessary reports for underwriting.

You will interact with underwriters, originators, and clients, providing timely updates and maintaining compliant file records. Strong data-entry and document management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Responsible for processing all secondary market and in-house portfolio loans.
• Prepare or review disclosures to TRID guidelines.
• Liaise between underwriter, loan originator and client.
• Provide Originator with timely status updates of their loan application.
• Return all inquiry calls within one business day.
• Collect required documentation and maintain files for reports.
• Order title reports, verifications, flood certs and appraisals.
• Analyze AUS with credit reports, income, and asset documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process Secondary Market and In-house portfolio mortgage loans.
• Prepare or review disclosures to TRID guidelines.
• Provide Originator with timely and periodic status updates of their loan application
• Return all inquiry calls within one business day.
• Order title reports, verifications, flood certs and appraisals.
• Analyze AUS with credit reports, income, and asset documentation.
