West Capital Lending, Inc. is seeking a motivated Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans in a remote capacity with a focus on the Charlotte, NC market.

The ideal candidate will manage the loan process from application to closing in a virtual environment, maintaining strong client relationships and compliance with guidelines. The role requires an active NC NMLS license, 2+ years of experience, and a solid knowledge of mortgage products.

Qualifications

• Active NC Loan Originator license (NMLS) required.
• 2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines
• Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans (Conventional, FHA, VA, Non-QM).
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, agents, and referral partners.
• Guide borrowers through the loan process with clear, timely communication.
• Analyze borrower financials to recommend suitable loan products.
• Ensure loan files meet federal, state and investor requirements.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting to ensure timely closings.
• Stay updated on lending guidelines and market trends.
