Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Holdings is seeking a Mortgage Customer Advocate Specialist to handle administrative tasks and support the legal department in tracking customer complaints. This role is remote with standard hours 7:30 am to 4:00 pm PST, and offers competitive pay of $22.00-$26.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include filing and maintaining advocacy files, updating complaint tracking, managing document retrieval, handling mail, audits, and providing general administrative support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years administrative experience in a legal/complaint handling, corporate or mortgage servicing environment.
• Hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm PST.
• Familiarity with mortgage servicing terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive).

Responsibilities

• Create and organize Customer Advocacy Department files.
• Maintain and update customer complaint tracking system.
• Import scanned documents and ensure data accuracy for reporting.
• Maintain internal/external email inboxes as needed.
• Assist with exception reporting as needed.
• Prepare outgoing responses as needed.
• Review Advocate scanned mail and determine handling.
• Maintain accurate and complete records for documentation.
• Participate in internal and external routine audits as needed.
• Provide general administrative support and other duties as needed.
