Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Holdings is hiring for a Mortgage Customer Advocate Specialist to provide admin support to the legal department and help track customer complaints. The role offers work-from-home flexibility with hours 7:30 am - 4:00 pm PST and a target pay of $22.00-$26.00 per hour.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of legal/complaint handling experience within mortgage servicing or corporate settings.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with mortgage servicing or lending terminology is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive).

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, file, and retrieve Customer Advocacy Department files.
• Maintain and update customer complaint file tracking system.
• Retrieve scanned documents and import into the system for reporting.
• Maintain internal/external email inboxes and assist with exception reporting.
• Prepare outgoing responses and review Advocate scanned mail.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in audits.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.
