Job summary

World Business Lenders is seeking a Closing Department Manager to lead the end-to-end mortgage closing function across the organization. You will oversee closing operations, guide internal teams and external partners, and drive efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes strategic process improvement, risk mitigation, and timely loan funding. This is a full-time, remote-capable position with standard business hours (ET) M-F.

Qualifications

• Extensive mortgage closing knowledge and title review experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of closing teams and third-party partners.
• Strong regulatory compliance expertise (TRID, RESPA, TILA).
• Experience coordinating with title companies, settlement agents, and attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Closing Team—develop staff and ensure compliant loan closings.
• Oversee end-to-end closings from CTC through funding.
• Provide legal oversight of loan documents and title commitments.
• Manage relationships with attorneys, title companies, and settlement agents.
• Resolve complex closing issues and ensure timely funding.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and investor requirements.
