Job summary

Crowe LLP is seeking a Model Risk Manager to lead consulting projects for financial services clients, focusing on model validation for credit risk, finance, and treasury models. You will supervise teams, manage projects end-to-end, and build trusted advisory relationships with client management.

The role involves delivering value through engagements, leading deliverables, and potentially remote work with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or Economics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years’ experience in financial institutions, Big 4 or equivalent, or regulatory supervisory of financial institutions.
Knowledge of model risk management regulatory guidance (SR 11-7, OCC 2011-12, FDIC FIL-22-2017).
Credit risk model types (e.g., CECL, PD/LGD, Roll Rate, Scorecards, Stress Testing).
Experience with model validations or development including back testing and stress testing.
Data processing, data storage, and data visualization knowledge.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train and review the work of other consultants.
Manage key aspects of client service projects from planning to completion.
Provide recommendations and build client relationships with management.
Support proposals and business development by identifying new target clients.
Lead development of new services by understanding industry trends and client challenges.
