Job summary

Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Benefit Verification Specialist to join our specialty oncology team. The role involves verifying, loading, and coordinating benefits for prescriptions, ensuring accurate insurance data, and supporting patient access to medications.

A Missouri Pharmacy Technician license is required, and candidates may work remotely with standard shifts between 8am and 8pm. Starting pay is $24 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for hires before Dec 31, 2026, plus

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with pharmacy/benefits verification experience.
• Desirable: Associate degree or PT Certification and specialty pharmacy exposure.
• Pharmacy technician license/registration as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, review, and load accurate patient insurances including medical and pharmacy coverage.
• Assign coordination of benefits and load insurances in CPR+ system.
• Run test claims to obtain valid insurance responses and determine reimbursement.
• Enroll eligible patients in copay card assistance programs.
• Provide first-call resolution and timely responses regarding benefit information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and compliant documentation.
