Job summary

Onco360 Pharmacy in Louisville, KY, is hiring a Pharmacy Benefit Verification Specialist to investigate and load patient insurance benefits, including medical and pharmacy coverage. The role requires knowledge of PBM contracts, Medicare/Medicaid, and benefits verification, with a focus on accurate data entry in CPR+ and timely responses to providers and patients.

Starting salary is $22/hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for hires before Oct 31, 2026, and quarterly incentives.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with 1+ years in pharmacy or benefits verification.
• Experience in pharmacy, medical billing, or benefits verification.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, review, and load patient insurances and benefits.
• Run test claims to obtain valid insurance responses.
• Document outcomes in CPR+ and assign orders to dispensing pharmacy.
• Assist with medical authorizations, LOAs, and TOAs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Support pharmacy operations and respond to providers/patients.
