Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Threat Analyst to join our Data Science, Machine Learning Operations and Response Team. You will analyze malware detections, investigate customer tickets, and work with AI-driven detections to improve accuracy and reduce false positives.

This role blends incident response and proactive threat hunting in a fast-paced security operations environment. Collaborate with Technical Account Managers, Falcon Complete, Data Scientists and the Malware Research

Qualifications

• Exposure to different types and functionality of malware.
• Experience with reverse engineering malware or malware operations.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, particularly Python.
• Fundamental understanding of binary file attributes (imports/exports, packers).
• Ability to break down complex problems into workable components.
• Experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze detection data and customer reports to improve ML model performance.
• Help manage false positives and refine detections.
• Analyze binary files to determine legitimacy.
• Review current product detections for performance against company standards.
• Address internal questions about customer threat detections.
