Lever, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Personalization, based in Spain. You will design, deploy, and maintain high-load, real-time ML services to power personalized experiences across global e-commerce platforms.

You will collaborate with ranking, search, and engineering teams, translate signals into actionable recommendations, run experiments and A/B tests, and own end-to-end delivery from data to product impact in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in applied machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with experience using the big data stack for end-to-end ML product development.
• Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining personalization, recommendation, or ranking systems in production.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and using experimental results to guide decisions.
• Experience translating ML initiatives into measurable business value and communicating that value to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve personalized experiences across products, platforms, and domains.
• Design, build, ship, and maintain high-load real-time ML services for personalization at scale.
• Model user interactions to understand shopper preferences and deliver relevant experiences.
• Research and evaluate personalization approaches to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Formulate and validate hypotheses using data, experimentation, and A/B testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and evolve personalization capabilities.
• Work cross-functionally with ML and engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Communicate technical findings and business value to stakeholders.
