Qualifications

• 2+ years of ML engineering experience or PhD in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in ML with GLMs, gradient boosting, deep learning, and probabilistic calibration.
• Domain knowledge in credit risk is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop production ML models to predict default and inform approval decisions.
• Collaborate with platform, product, and data teams to train, monitor, and deploy models.
• Research and prototype solutions to advance credit decisioning at Affirm.
• Scale data pipelines and features for production models.
• Define requirements for new ML-powered products with cross-functional teams
