Job summary

Lifeway is seeking an Account Executive to grow our church ministry partnerships within a remote-based territory covering DC, MD, and VA. You will own prospecting through close, build trust with church leaders, and collaborate with internal teams to tailor Lifeway resources for local ministry needs.

This field sales role requires regular travel within the territory, strong relationship-building, and a passion for serving churches with value-based solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience selling value-based products or services.
• Proven cold calling skills with rapport-building ability.
• Experience with inbound and outbound lead generation strategies.
• Outside or field sales experience with a track record of closing deals.
• Excellent oral and written communication across leadership levels.
• Consultative selling to assess needs and tailor solutions.
• Self-motivated with a history of meeting personal and team targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan with sales leadership.
• Prospect and qualify church accounts via inbound/outbound strategies.
• Build trust-based relationships with church stakeholders.
• Manage full sales cycle from outreach to close, hitting revenue targets.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly revenue forecasts based on pipeline data.
• Maintain records of activities, contacts, and opportunities in Salesforce.
• Monitor market trends and share insights with sales leadership.
• Provide feedback on materials and processes to help the team grow.
