Job summary

Guardians of Honor LLC is seeking a Program Manager - Military Engagement Advisor to guide the planning and execution of initiatives connecting cadets, students, faculty, and defense partners with opportunities in science and technology.

You will translate client objectives into executable plans, advise on military stakeholder needs, and oversee performance, staffing, and risks while maintaining government accountability and contractor responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, program management, or related field.
• 10 years of military/defense experience with at least 5 years leading programs or complex initiatives.
• Direct experience with Army or defense organizations and related processes.
• Ability to navigate military and civilian interfaces and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing schedules, resources, performance, risks, and deliverables across locations.
• Strong analytical judgment, executive writing, briefing, facilitation, and relationships skills.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating multidisciplinary teams in a client-service environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and program-management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior guidance on Army and defense structures, chains of command, and decision processes.
• Lead program planning, staffing, schedules, budgets, quality controls, and risk mitigation.
• Serve as senior contractor point of contact for Government stakeholders; prepare materials and status reports.
• Develop engagement strategies for military colleges, ROTC, and defense laboratories and partners.
• Translate defense priorities into recruitment, research matching, and workforce development approaches.
• Oversee outreach, application processing, onboarding, participant services, and data operations.
• Advise staff on military protocols, calendars, and effective communication with military and academic audiences.
• Direct contractor personnel, manage workload, and ensure deliverable accountability.
• Oversee travel, stipends, housing, and reimbursements in line with funding and contracts.
