Job summary

Pennwood Cyber Charter School seeks a qualified Middle School Math teacher (grades 6-8) to deliver online instruction from a home office in Pennsylvania. Certified teachers manage instructional programming, communicate with learning coaches and students, and ensure each child progresses.

Qualifications

• Certified to teach Middle School and/or High School in Pennsylvania.
• PA residency or eligibility for PA teaching certification.
• Experience teaching in a cyber learning environment preferred.
• Strong technology skills (MS Office, Google Suite).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel for state testing, school and marketing events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver asynchronous and synchronous instruction in whole group, small group, and 1-1 settings.
• Complete grading, lesson preparation, and parent/student communications in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with teachers (PLCs) to develop and update learning plans and assessments.
• Maintain knowledge of K-12 curriculum and specific courses taught.
• Communicate regularly with parents and students via LMS and phone.
• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and contacts.
• Support state assessments and school events as directed.
