Job summary

O'Keefe Millwork in River Falls, WI is seeking an experienced Drafter/Engineer to translate architectural blueprints into cabinet and millwork shop drawings. The role collaborates closely with project managers, estimators, purchasing and production to ensure accurate fabrication and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of drafting experience in Microvellum, strong cabinet/millwork knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

2+ years drafting and releasing experience with Microvellum.
Know-how of cabinet layout and millwork fabrication methods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented, well-organized, team player, and able to prioritize deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Strong technical aptitude with problem-solving.
Resourceful and quick to locate information.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret architectural drawings.
Design accurate shop drawings of custom cabinetry/furniture layouts in Microvellum.
Use 2D and 3D drawings to communicate product details and improve fabrication efficiencies.
Monitor quality, cut lists and project progress before release to production.
Collaborate with project managers, estimators, purchasing and production to mitigate issues.
Meet or exceed project deadlines with limited supervision.
Drive process improvements and best practices.
