Job summary

Avantiico is hiring a Microsoft BI (Fabric) Engineer to design and build modern analytics on Fabric and Power BI for clients, including lakehouses, warehouses, and semantic models, with notebooks and AI-enabled experiences.

This is a client-facing consulting role: you will run workshops, gather requirements, and present solutions to senior stakeholders, while staying current with Microsoft updates and delivering high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Synapse in production.
• Strong Power BI, DAX, semantic modeling, and row-level security (RLS).
• Advanced SQL and Python / PySpark for notebook development.
• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 F&S or Dataverse with analytics platforms.
• Git and Azure DevOps for version control and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Fabric and Azure Synapse solutions (Lakehouses, Warehouses, Pipelines) using medallion architecture.
• Develop Power BI models and reports with performance tuning and RLS.
• Integrate Dynamics 365 F&S and Dataverse data into analytics environments.
• Write SQL, Python, and PySpark for notebook development and data transformations.
• Lead client workshops, gather requirements, and present to senior stakeholders.
• Build AI-enabled experiences on client data and document work for knowledge transfer.
• Support pre-sales activities, including content creation and webinars.
• Stay current with Microsoft updates and best practices.
